    A cheap magnifier that gets the job done. It’s lenses are a bit on the small side, but at that price it is perfect for my backpacking and other outdoor adventures.

    These are pretty good quality compared to others like them. But they have the same problems that all of the little circular magnfiers have in that the viewing area is small – can only see a part of a quarter – and you have to get the light from the right angle. I also bought the Lighted 3.5″ Glass Dome Magnifier which has the same magnification but a MUCH larger screen, a perfect inside light, and is so much easier to use. I highly recommend that latter for coins, stamps, and all small items that you want to see in detail.
